ANDREA IYAMAH’S RTW SS17 COLLECTION

Andrea Iyamah, as you may have read in my last post, is a brand known for its spectacular swimwear. Recently, they’ve begun expanding into bridal and ready-to-wear clothing. A lot of these pieces were exhibited at the Lagos Fashion & Design Week last year, which makes me wonder why these are labelled ‘SS/17’ pieces – but that’s not really my problem. I believe the collection derived a lot of its inspiration from previous collections of the Spanish brand ‘Delpozo’. Though the lawyer in me may not agree with it, copying, in the fashion industry is nothing new. Some might say its as old as the fashion industry itself. Regardless, I love this collection. It’s well made, aesthetically pleasant, and any girl would look amazing in these pieces.
