LFDW DAY 1 Recap

For the people who follow my blog, you’ve already seen all of my favourite looks. Gotta say I was a little disappointed with the quality and ingenuity of the clothes that came down the runway. As I said in last year’s review of LFDW, there always seems to be an issue with finishing. Nevertheless, before I get chastised for ruining companies and not understanding tailoring or whatever, the designer who won my heart without a doubt was Sophie Zinga. Her designs were cohesive and well tailored. I also loved the designs of Funke Adepoju and Grey Projects. I loved the combination of the green and blue textile Grey used for the pictures below, it reminded me of Lisa Folawiyo.
